Institute of Robotics
Head of Institute:
assoc. prof. Aleš Hace, PhD
The basic and applied research work at the Institute of Robotics is oriented towards the development of theory and applications of modern control methods, modelling and simulation of dynamic processes, identification, industrial robotics, servo systems, production automation, sensor systems, computer-based process control, robotic controllers and real time control systems.
The main focus is on the development of advanced control algorithms for position, speed and torque control for different types of electric actuators and constructions of robotic mechanisms. We are constantly developing, improving and building new educational tools to achieving high quality and effective teaching processes and for familiarising students with the state of the art technologies.
